What is ICP Intelligence?
ICP Intelligence is a free MCP server and web app with nine ideal customer profile tools, by Shashwat Ghosh of Helix GTM Consulting. Give it your best customers, deals and market numbers, and it returns an ICP deep dive, a scoring model, a buying group map, TAM, SAM and SOM, lookalike criteria, account priorities, gaps, ICP changes and interview themes.
Is ICP Intelligence free, and do I need an account?
It is free, and there is no account or sign-in. Use the tools in your browser here, or connect the MCP server to your AI assistant.
Does it use AI to write the answers?
No. Each tool applies fixed rules in the ICP Intelligence code to the inputs you give it. It does not call an AI model and does not look anything up. When you use it from Claude or another assistant, that assistant writes around the tool's answer.
What happens to what I type?
It is sent to this site's server, used once to build the answer, and dropped when the answer is sent back. Nothing is stored and nothing you type is logged. The privacy page has the details.
How do I use ICP Intelligence in Claude?
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, select + and then Add custom connector. Name it ICP Intelligence, paste https://icp-intelligence.gtmhelix.com/mcp and choose no sign-in. The Connect page covers Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf too.
Who built it?
Shashwat Ghosh, Co-Founder and Fractional CMO of Helix GTM Consulting, a business consulting firm founded in 2022 in Bengaluru. He has 24+ years in B2B and 10+ years of fractional experience, and created the EPIC, IMPACT and CRAFT frameworks and the Hub-Spoke Messaging Methodology.
Why do some answers look like templates?
Several tools return a structured plan with [placeholders] where your inputs did not give a fact. When an answer shows a benchmark, target, rate, weight or other figure you did not supply, it is labelled "Example figure: replace with your own". Figures calculated from your inputs are not labelled. Suggested lengths, timings and counts are marked as suggestions. Replace every example and placeholder before you use the result.
Can I call the tools from my own code?
Yes. Send POST https://icp-intelligence.gtmhelix.com/api/tools/<tool name> with a JSON body {"input": {...}}. The Docs page lists every field. Please keep to the rate limit of 30 requests per minute.
Is the source code public?
Yes, at https://github.com/shashwatgtm/icp-intelligence-mcp under the MIT licence. The npm package @shashwatgtmalpha/icp-intelligence-mcp runs the same tools locally.
Who is ICP Intelligence not ideal for?
Teams looking for a list of companies to target: the tools describe and score profiles from your data but find no companies. Market sizing without your own numbers: TAM, SAM and SOM come only from the figures you enter. Teams that need saved models or CRM sync: nothing is stored and no CRM is connected.
